Annual General Meeting & State Commissioner Handover

Join us at our Annual General Meeting and the State Commissioner Handover Reception.

Registrations to attend the AGM & State Commissioner Handover Reception in person has now reached capacity. You are still welcome to register to participate in this event online. Online registration close 9am Friday 21 May.

Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT Annual General Meeting will be delivered as a hybrid event with the opportunity to participate in person at Rydges World Square, Sydney or by joining in online from wherever you are located.

After the Annual General Meeting, Sarah Neill will be handing over the role of State Commissioner to Emily Milton Smith. The handover will take place in person at Rydges World Square and also be live streamed through zoom.

Registrations & Apologies: 

There are various close dates for registrations and apologies, please ensure you register before the close date for your preferred ticket:
In person attendees - Registrations close 5pm Friday 7 May
There is a capacity for in person attendees, register early to avoid missing out.
Online attendees - Registrations close 9am Friday 21 May
Apologies  - Due 11am Saturday 22 May

Appoint a Proxy:

If you are unable to attend, you have the right to appoint a proxy, if you so wish. You may do so via one of the below two options:

An electronic proxy form, to be received by the Chief Executive Officer latest three hours prior to the AGM (i.e. 11am on 22 May). For the electronic proxy form, please click or tap here.
OR
A postal proxy form, to be delivered to the Association’s registered address (Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT, 2/55 Holt St, Surry Hills, NSW, 2010) at least 48 hours before the meeting (2pm Thursday 20 May). For the postal proxy form, please click or tap here.

REGISTRATION & REFUND POLICY EVENTS:
Unless specified otherwise, you must be a current and active Member of Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT to attend. Membership must be current before registering. Adult Members, Ongoing Volunteers, and event participants over the age of 18 (or 16 if local jurisdiction requires) must be CSCF compliant  to attend or their ticket to attend will be cancelled and a refund will be issued.
For large in-person events, registrations close 3 weeks prior to event date, unless sold out prior (or unless specified in event information).
There are no name changes or refunds after registration close date.
  
REFUNDS
All refunds must be requested via email. Refunds are not offered after the registration close date.

CANCELLATIONS
If an event is cancelled, registrants will be refunded. However, in the event of the cancellation of a fundraising event, ticket price will be refunded minus the amount of the donation included. If a course is cancelled attendees will be offered a transfer to another instance of the same course.
