Olave Program Retreat 2023 - Adventure Awaits!
Olaves are excitedly invited to come together at Random Cottage in the Blue Mountains to experience adventure, community and self-development at its finest.
We will enjoy a range of Guiding Traditions including outdoor cooking, Guides' Own and Campfire. We have a range of fabulous offsite activities so you can choose your own adventure for the Saturday afternoon. You have the choice of sleeping indoors or outdoors. Please note, there is only a limited amount of indoor space available, so get your registration in quick if you want a few more creature comforts. We are doing a semi-catered event and there are basic kitchen facilities available for you to use for food preparation.

If you have already registered via the Google Form, you will be contacted directly regarding payment. if you selected the indoor option and this is already at capacity, you will be contacted soon to let you know that outdoors is the only remaining option.

Costs:
Indoor registration - $65
Outdoor registration - $55
Registration includes accommodation and site costs, catering for suppers, campfire snacks, post-offsite activity snacks, Saturday dinner and dessert, all onsite program activities, and event badge.
Off-site Activities - On the Saturday afternoon we will be choosing our own adventure with the following options:
1. Hiking/Geocaching Adventure - enjoy a hike with a sprinkle of geocaching in the Blue Mountains area. Cost - free of charge
2. Mount Tomah Botanic Gardens with tour - enjoy a guided walking tour through the Mount Tomah Botanic Gardens to hear all about what the gardens have to offer. Cost - $14 each
3. Mount Tomah Botanic Gardens without tour - explore the gardens at your own pace or find a nice spot in the garden to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Cost - Donation to the gardens upon entry.
4. Abseiling (High ropes course is a back-up option) - Get your adrenaline rushing by enjoying some abseiling or a high-ropes course (back-up option) in the Blue Mountains. Cost - Abseiling TBC. High ropes course back-up option cost is $51 per person.
Event Program:
Friday night
Arrival from 5pm, BYO dinner/eat en route/eat before you come.
Setting up camp and evening activities including keeping warm by a fire, games, getting to know other Olaves.
Basic supper provided.

Registration & Refund Policy Courses:
You must be a current Member of Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT in good financial standing to attend. Please make sure your membership is current before registering and have your membership number available to sign up online.
