Great Guide Sleepover - Sydney
Fundraising, prizes, bedrolls, starlit cinema, dance party and awesome fun of epic proportions. All outdoors and a one-of-a-kind experience in a Zoo!
Excitement is building for the most highly anticipated Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT event.
The first Great Guide Sleepover was held in 1996 on the steps of the Opera House to raise awareness and funds for homeless communities. Since then, the Sleepover has become an annual tradition, moving locations over the years but always funding a cause for the community. This year we return to Sydney Taronga Zoo for an eventful evening of sleeping under the stars, Guiding, animals, movies, dancing and more.
There will be fundraising. There will be prizes. There will be bedrolls.
There will be a film, there will be a dance party. There will be awesome fun of epic proportions.

Fundraising:
Taronga has worked for 30 years in breeding and releasing Regent Honeyeater's into the wild and restoring their habitat, helping support the species survival. The Zoo's breeding program has successfully released over 1000 Regent Honeyeaters and Taronga staff have volunteered their time to plant over 30,000 trees in the Capertee Valley, the Honeyeaters natural habitat. This year, help make continued conservation and preservation a reality!
