Kayaking Silver Practice

This training has been postponed until further notice.

The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award

This is the second kayaking session in the series of 3 that is required to achieve silver award.

When:

13 - 17 April
Travel on 13th and 17th

Where:

Myall Lakes National Park

Who:

Senior Guides 14 - 17 years old & Olaves under 25

Time:

Travel to and from Myall Lakes National Park to be organised with the Leader in Charge prior to the event. Paddle practice will start 8am on 14th April 2020

Cost:

$100 

This course covers:

This expedition allows you to show what you have learned by leading the expedition as a team. Leaders will only intervene if there is a risk management issue.

Prerequisite:

You will have had to participate in the preparation session and completed Trefoil 3 Canoe/Kayak.

You must be a current Member of Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT in good financial standing to attend. Please make sure your membership is current before registering and have your membership number available to sign up online.

Registrations close: 5pm Monday 30 March.

Under certain circumstance, within the Courses Department, a transfer rather than a refund may be considered. Transfers will be to the next available equivalent course in the calendar year.

REFUNDS
All refunds must be requests via email. Refunds are not offered after the registration close date. However, refunds will be considered after the registration close date under extenuating circumstances (e.g. medical emergency or death in the family).

CANCELLATIONS
If an event is cancelled, registrants will be refunded. However, in the event of the cancellation of a fundraising event, ticket price will be refunded minus the amount of the donation included. If a course is cancelled attendees will be offered a transfer to another instance of the same course.
