Think Guiding showcase. Think bring-a-friend. Think fun, friends and adventure. 

Back for the it’s 3rd year, Lark in the Park returns with a new array of activities. This event for Pre-junior and Junior Guides a unique experience for members to participate in camping, outdoor skills, orienteering, and a variety of online and offline activities. For many this will be their first taste of campfire camaraderie. Grab your Unit, come by yourself or with your best Bring-a-Friend.

• Pre-Junior, Junior Guide & Flexible Junior Guide Youth Members - 5-10 year old
• Bring a Friends - 5-10 year old
• Adult Leaders, Adult Helpers, and Junior Leaders.

This event is limited to Pre-Junior, Junior Guide and Flexi Units. Members in Guide Units are not to register.

• Junior Leader - $0
• Adult Leader/Helper - $0
*Bring a Friends who become member of Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT after the event will have $10 deducted from their membership cost.
 

How The Virtual Event Works


There are several ways you can participate in the virtual Lark in the Park. It is more than just a one day online event! 

1. Join in the Pre Event Challenges.

The virtual Lark in the Park  will be online from 1 - 4 PM with a combination of online and offline activities

Registrations close - Monday 21 September at 11:59pm
No late registrations will be accepted. If you are having issues registering before the closing time and date please email [email protected] and your email will be considered a place holder for a ticket.

Registration & Refund Policy:

You must be a current Member of Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT in good financial standing to attend. Please make sure your membership is current before registering and have your membership number available to sign up online.
Registrations close Monday 21 September, unless event is filled prior to this date. No name changes, refunds or transfers after TBD.
All refund requests must be submitted via email to [email protected] and will only be processed under extenuating circumstances.

REGISTRATION & REFUND POLICY EVENTS:
Unless specified otherwise, you must be a current and active Member of Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT to attend. Membership must be current before registering. Adult Members, Ongoing Volunteers, and event participants over the age of 18 (or 16 if local jurisdiction requires) must be CSCF compliant  to attend or their ticket to attend will be cancelled and a refund will be issued.
For large in-person events, registrations close 3 weeks prior to event date, unless sold out prior (or unless specified in event information).
There are no name changes or refunds after registration close date.
  
REFUNDS
All refunds must be requested via email. Refunds are not offered after the registration close date.

CANCELLATIONS
If an event is cancelled, registrants will be refunded. However, in the event of the cancellation of a fundraising event, ticket price will be refunded minus the amount of the donation included. If a course is cancelled attendees will be offered a transfer to another instance of the same course.
