Workshop Presenter Skills

If you are interested in presenting information and sessions to assist leaders and managers to develop their skills to better support the delivery of the Australian Guide Program? Then this course is for you.


You will learn how to convey ideas, prepare simple visual aids, plan and deliver a session and think on your feet and answer impromptu questions without stumbling. 

This course will assist you personally and build your confidence to share your skills with others. It could start you on the pathway to being a qualified Workshop Presenter and potentially onto becoming a State Trainer.

Course covers how to:

• develop skills to assist in the delivery of presentations, it may lead to either a workshop presenter or trainer qualification after evaluation on the day.
and confidence to effectively express yourself in any situation;
• improve communication skills and self-confidence;
• write and deliver a session plan

Registration & Refund Policy Courses:

You must be a current Member of Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT in good financial standing to attend. Please make sure your membership is current before registering and have your membership number available to sign up online.

Registrations close: 5.00pm 2nd May unless course is filled prior to this date.

Once you have registered you will receive more information regarding the training via email

No name changes, refunds or transfers after 2nd May.
All refund requests must be submitted via email to [email protected] and will only be processed under extenuating circumstances.

In some cases, a transfer to the next available equivalent course in the calendar year may be considered. To request a transfer after the registration close date please email [email protected].
