Mental Health First Aid Course (Standard)

MHFA Pilot for Region Team, District Managers & Leaders from Districts without a District Manager/District Administrator

The above Members are invited to a two-day Mental Health First Aid Course, facilitated by Ripple Learning.

This is an exciting opportunity for those with an interest in learning about mental health, and how to better support Adults around you. Once completed, the course can be fully accredited online, qualifying you as a Mental Health First Aider for 3 years.

"1 in 5 Australians will experience a mental health problem in any given year. That means that every person is likely to know someone who is. We need more mental health literacy and support skills in the community to help catch more Australians experiencing mental health problems and troubled times" - MHFA Australia.

Please BYO lunch. Morning and afternoon tea will be provided. Those signing up will need to be available for both days of the course. 

Please note, your registration details will be shared with our third-party Training Provider - Ripple Learning. 

We have been able to keep costs low thanks to the generous support of Helen Jarvis & Ripple Learning to assist with the cost of the course.

Can I stay overnight?

The Region Centre is approved for overnight stays for those attending from further afield. Additional charges will apply. Bookings to be made by contacting Amanda at [email protected]

There are no name changes or refunds after the registration close date.
