Workshop Presenter Skills

This training has been rescheduled from 19 June to 31 July 2021.

If you are interested in presenting information and sessions to assist leaders and managers to develop their skills to better support the delivery of the Australian Guide Program? Then this course is for you.


You will learn how to convey ideas, prepare simple visual aids, plan and deliver a session and think on your feet and answer impromptu questions without stumbling. 

This course will assist you personally and build your confidence to share your skills with others. It could start you on the pathway to being a qualified Workshop Presenter and potentially onto becoming a State Trainer.

Course covers how to:

develop skills to assist in the delivery of presentations, it may lead to either a workshop presenter or trainer qualification after evaluation on the day.
improve communication skills and self-confidence;
write and deliver a session plan

Registration & Refund Policy Courses:

You must be a current Member of Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT in good financial standing to attend. Please make sure your membership is current before registering and have your membership number available to sign up online.

Registrations close:
5pm Monday 26 July. Unless course is filled prior to this date.

Once you have registered you will receive more information regarding the training via email

No name changes, refunds or transfers after Monday 26 July.

All refund requests must be submitted via email to [email protected] and will only be processed under extenuating circumstances.

In some cases, a transfer to the next available equivalent course in the calendar year may be considered. To request a transfer after the registration close date please email [email protected].

REGISTRATION & REFUND POLICY EVENTS:
Unless specified otherwise, you must be a current and active Member of Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT to attend. Membership must be current before registering. Adult Members, Ongoing Volunteers, and event participants over the age of 18 (or 16 if local jurisdiction requires) must be CSCF compliant  to attend or their ticket to attend will be cancelled and a refund will be issued.
For large in-person events, registrations close 3 weeks prior to event date, unless sold out prior (or unless specified in event information).
There are no name changes or refunds after registration close date.
  
REFUNDS
All refunds must be requested via email. Refunds are not offered after the registration close date.

CANCELLATIONS
If an event is cancelled, registrants will be refunded. However, in the event of the cancellation of a fundraising event, ticket price will be refunded minus the amount of the donation included. If a course is cancelled attendees will be offered a transfer to another instance of the same course.
