NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has announced that the Stay at Home order has been extended for Greater Sydney until 12.01am 17 July. If you have the mildest of symptoms—stay home.

Impact on Girl Guides

Greater Sydney

No face-to-face Guide Meetings week one of school term
Guide Halls and campsites to remain closed
Guides@Home activities and virtual meetings are the only way for Guides in the impacted area to meet in week one of term 3.

Regional NSW

In areas outside of Greater Sydney, where school is resuming, Girl Guides may resume face-to-face Guide Meetings. COVIDsafe meetings and use of Guide Halls and campsites permitted. Check-in requirements are in place.

ACT

Face masks are currently required in certain public settings within the ACT. Find out about the face mask requirements. Anyone over the age of 12 years is asked to wear a mask when entering venues, waiting for Guide meetings, or while in other common areas. Masks can be removed when participating in Girl Guides Unit Meetings but must be put back on afterwards.

Guide Leaders can remove their mask whilst running a meeting but should wear a mask before and after each meeting.

Spectators and anyone that may be waiting in a Guide Hall should wear a mask at all times while they are inside.

There are currently travel requirements in place for people coming to the ACT from New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Northern Territory, Western Australia, South Australia, New Zealand and flights. Find out the latest advice.

NT

Greater Darwin

Restrictions are in place until 1pm on 9 July, including wearing of masks when physical distance of 1.5m cannot be maintained, on public transport and at the shops. Find out about the face mask requirements .

Check-in is required, everywhere, every time at all businesses and places where customers and clients visit.

Now the Lockdown has lifted in NT, Guide Halls can re-open, provided they adhere to all Restrictions noted on the Coronavirus (COVID-19) website .
