UN Women Australia runs International Women’s Day events around Australia in March each year.
Their events for 2021 are different to previous years. On Friday 5 March, UN Women Australia will be holding a Sydney IWD Lunch, concurrently with live events in Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane and Perth which will also be live-streamed, enabling a wider audience to participate and engage with UN Women’s work. On Monday 8 March 2021, UN Women Australia will be marking International Women’s Day by holding its inaugural Day of Giving. It will be an intensive 24-hour drive to raise much needed funds for the world’s women and girls. The success of the Sydney event and Day of Giving campaign depends on passionate volunteers. Volunteering with UN Women Australia will assit them to make a huge difference in the continued success and growth of their organisation and the crucial work they do for the world’s women and girls.
