Tips & Tricks
• Keep food in air tight containers to keep fresh & also in a seperate sandwich or bag in case it spills.
• Use a thermos to keep food hot or cold, check your individual product for the length of time you can store your food at the correct temperature.
• Choose shelf stable foods that don't require refrigeration.
• Temperatures will be cool. It is easier to keep food cold rather than hot.
• Add a few "special" treats like mini marshmallows, hot chocolate with sprinkles, or a tiny packet of lollies for a morale boost.
• Portion control helps – pack meals/snacks in labelled bags by day/time so girls don't eat everything on day one.
• Label everything clearly with names.
• Avoid allergens where possible or have seperate "nut-free" labelled options.
