Emily is an award-winning leader and education specialist in the for-purpose sector, deeply engaged in social impact, sustainability, and youth and community services.
She currently serves on a number of Boards and Committees, including the Dove Self Esteem Project Young Leaders Advisory Council; UN Women Australia’s International Women’s Day Sydney Committee; and The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust.
With over 15 years experience, Emily brings a unique perspective to business strategy: with a research background in digital media, communication technology and visual culture, combined with her professional experience in advocacy, brand management, marketing and PR.
Emily has represented Girl Guides at numerous APAC and global conferences, including 3 times at the United Nations, where she has delivered critical wins to improve accountability for girls’ rights, education and empowerment. Well regarded for her strong experience in international and domestic policy and alongside several qualifications, including in transformational change and leadership, she is in the final stage of a Masters of Public Policy.
In 2020, Emily was named a Women Deliver Young Leader, a prestigious global recognition. This follows The Queen’s Young Leader Award, presented by Her Majesty The Queen, where she remains 1 of 240 people globally to receive this distinction.
