Outdoors, an Australian Guide Program Fundamental

Other Topics

Outdoor activities and programs provide an invaluable opportunity for our girls and young women to explore and build leadership and life skills, ultimately raising their self-confidence.

Guides are encouraged to raise their self awareness of the world around them. By providing girls and young women with opportunities to learn about protecting the environment, identifying local community projects, learning about and speaking out on global issues, as well as just enjoying the great outdoors, we can foster this self-awareness.
