If you would like to soar to new heights, build your leadership potential, experience personal growth, challenge yourself and above all have FUN, then this leadership development weekend is for you.

Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT pride themselves in providing leadership opportunities for all our girls. The FLY weekend is a fun, learn as you go self development weekend for Senior Guides and Junior Guides to boost their leadership skills.

Update for Senior Guides attending Centenary Celebration Camp:
The FLY Program will be delivered over a number of days at the Centenary Celebration Camp for Senior Guides who attend the whole Camp.
If you are attending the Centenary Celebration Camp there is no need to register for the FLY training in June or October.
The FLY Program will not be an additional cost, it will be included in the registration ticket price for Centenary Celebration Camp.

Who:

- Youth Members age 15 - 17
- Junior Leaders

Time:

Arrive and register from 6.30 pm Friday night
Course concludes at 3.30 pm on Sunday

Cost:

$140
Price includes accommodation and all meals. Members are responsible for their own transport to and from the course.

This course covers:

- Team building techniques
- Leadership styles & roles
- Techniques for teaching skills
- Meeting skills
- Communication skills
- Evaluation process

Numbers are limited, don't miss out!
- This course is suitable for girls completing the Gold Endeavour and the Queen's Guide

Registration & Refund Policy Courses:

You must be a current Member of Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT in good financial standing to attend. Please make sure your membership is current before registering and have your membership number available to sign up online.

Registrations close: 5pm Monday 4 October, unless program is filled prior to this date.

Once you have registered you will receive more information regarding the program via email.

No name changes, refunds or transfers after Monday 4 October.

All refund requests must be submitted via email to events@girlguides-nswactnt.org.au and will only be processed under extenuating circumstances.

In some cases, a transfer to the next available equivalent program in the calendar year may be considered. To request a transfer after the registration close date please email events@girlguides-nswactnt.org.au.

Under certain circumstance, within the Courses Department, a transfer rather than a refund may be considered. Transfers will be to the next available equivalent course in the calendar year.

REFUNDS
All refunds must be requests via email. Refunds are not offered after the registration close date. However, refunds will be considered after the registration close date under extenuating circumstances (e.g. medical emergency or death in the family).

CANCELLATIONS
If an event is cancelled, registrants will be refunded. However, in the event of the cancellation of a fundraising event, ticket price will be refunded minus the amount of the donation included. If a course is cancelled attendees will be offered a transfer to another instance of the same course.
