As part of Girl Guides NSW, ACT and NT's commitment to inclusion all current staff and volunteers are eligible to register for this free LGBTQIA+ 101 training.

Overview:
This training will equip you to better understand the needs and strengths of LGBTQIA+ community and give you tangible tools to ensure inclusive practice across your Guiding community. It is open to individuals from all levels of experience with LGBTQIA+ inclusion.
About the Trainer:
Tierney Marey (she/her) is an equity, diversity and inclusion specialist currently working in the higher education sector and pursuing a doctorate in the field. She identifies as part of the LGBTQIA+ community and is a Senior Guide Leader and the State Inclusion Coordinator for Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT.
Pre-requisites:
Once you register, you will receive a confirmation which will include a pre-recorded session to watch and a digital work booklet to begin completing before you attend the training.
