The Competition

All Girl Guides aged 10 and over are encouraged to get creative and submit a design for the Great Guide Sleepover 2023 event badge! Badges are a wonderful memento for many Girl Guiding experiences, and serve as an incredible reminder of the awesome adventures we get to experience as Girl Guides!

This year, the Great Guide Sleepover will take place in 3 exciting locations: Alice Springs, Dubbo, and Sydney! You might like to refer to these 3 locations in your design. Or, you might like to centre your design around an endangered animal you adore and want to advocate for. Whatever you choose, the sky’s the limit! Get designing now! 

Criteria 

Your badge can follow any theme, and any design! The only requirement is that it includes ‘Great Guide Sleepover 2023’ in clear lettering, and a trefoil. 

Badges must feature the event name ‘Great Guide Sleepover 2023’ and a trefoil (see below)

Designs can be free drawn with pens and paper or created digitally, using Microsoft Word or Canva. However you choose to create your design, get creative and explore different shapes! Your badge doesn’t need to be round; it can be any shape. It’s up to you, the talented designer! 

What you'll win

The designer of the winning submission will receive a ticket to attend the Great Guide Sleepover, so check that your Unit and Leaders are planning on attending before you submit!

How to enter

Notify your Leader you want to attend GGS '23!
Please include your Full Name, Member Number and Unit Name with your submission. 
The winner will be contacted via email after the deadline. Please ensure you (and a parent or carer) are available to work with the Leadership Team to have your design implemented into the 2023 event badge.
