Tomorrow, 25 April is ANZAC Day. Every year, this day signals us an opportunity to pause, reflect and show gratitude. ANZAC Day bears relevance to all Australians and is a reminder of the service and sacrifice made to enable future generations to have hope and enjoy greater prosperity.
Many Girl Guide Members will be attending ANZAC Day ceremonies and parades across the nation. Big or small, these ceremonies allow communities to come together and pay respects. Girl Guides Australia in collaboration with Twinkl have developed a new resource on what to expect on the day and how to best prepare. Check it out here.
I encourage you all to wear your uniform proudly if you are attending a Service tomorrow representing Girl Guides.
There were many activities over the past weekend, including FLY, and I was pleased to join Leaders, Olaves and Others Together at LOOT on the weekend at Wauchope in the North Pacific Coast Region for an action-packed camp filled with surfing, horse riding, flying, escape rooming, campfire, water activities and so much fun, friendship and adventure! Bravo to everyone for getting outdoors and getting connected and inspired to look wide and look wider still!
Special thanks to all the leadership teams involved in putting on these events, including Sally Woodhouse and Kim Woodhouse for LOOT, and Charlotte Weatherall and Jodie Chilvers for FLY.

CSCF Compliance for Trefoil Guild Members |
|
Did you know that Trefoil Guild Members who have no other role in Guiding have had an extension on the compliance deadline for the GGA CSCF Framework (including the CSCF training module) up until 31 December 2023.
This extended compliance deadline acknowledges the difficulty some Trefoil Guilds and Trefoil Guild Members are having completing the online module and commends the work being done by Guilds and SGGOs to ensure compliance. |
