Casual Volunteers

People who volunteer with GGiA on less than five occasions in any 12 month period at a Girl Guide activity where Youth Members are present. For example:
- Assisting at a BBQ at a GGiA event
- Talking to Youth Members about a topic (whilst supervised by an Adult Member).

Casual Volunteers are not able to assist with overnight stays or when it is likely to result in unsupervised access to Youth Member. (Note: If you wish to register as an Ongoing Volunteer please return to the forms page here and select the Ongoing Volunteer Form)

To become a Casual Volunteer you need to:

1. Register with Girl Guides online using this form. You need to know the name of the District you will be volunteering with.
2. Familiarise yourself with the Girl Guides Australia (GGA) Code of Conduct and agree to the declarations in this form.
3. Check in each time you volunteer with Girl Guides. You are able to volunteer 4 times per 12-month period.

IMPORTANT: You will need to register as an Ongoing Volunteer before you are able to volunteer a 5th time within any 12-month period. This includes completing additional screening a CSCF eGuiding module. Please email [email protected] for more information.
