Burrabaroo

In response to COVID-19 and recent announcements by the Federal Government, all Girl Guides Campsites have pressed pause on taking bookings.

Burrabaroo, consisting of 9.3 hectres (23 acres), is situated approximately 16kms north of Tamworth on  Porcupine Lane,  2.5kms off the New England Highway.
The Brownie Cottage Tin Tuppa Gunyah sleeps 24 people, and has conference room facilities. The camp site is divided into six camping grounds, for those who like to camp out.


Accommodation x 24

Four bedrooms with two double bunks and a single bed. Two bedrooms each with single beds. No bedding provided.

 

Camp kitchen

The generous kitchen is well equipped with a large electric stove, fridge with freezer, microwave, and various electrical appliances.


Campsite

The camp site is divided into six camping grounds, for those who like to sleep under the stars.

  • Turkey farms at Kootingal

  • Visit Tamworth, view it’s historical heritage and parks or tour the country

The property is located approx. 16kms north of Tamworth.  Access by car or private bus. Kootingal Train Station is 5km away.
