Please note this is by no means comprehensive and is issued as only a guide to provide information on essentials that the leadership team feel may be useful to bring to Camp.
Please note the site is a BUSH CAMPSITE. Whilst there is running fresh water, there are no showers on site, and we are bringing in flushable Portaloos for the weekend. Please consider sustainability when packing. All rubbish generated needs to be taken home by each Unit. Please try to be as light weight as possible.
Individual:
Toiletries including a roll of toilet paper (2 ply, 700 sheet) and a small personal bottle of hand sanitizer in a zip lock bag.
Face washer
Small towel
Swimwear (must be Camp appropriate)
Underwear
Clothing for 2 days
Team costume
Long pants and jacket (evenings can be cool)
Closed-in shoes/joggers (for land activities)
Separate water or boating shoes (not sandals/thongs) (for water activities)
Hat
Sunscreen
Water bottle
Insect repellent
Sleeping gear – sleeping mat/sleeping bag etc
Tent – work this out with your unit
Food – again, you may choose to work this out with your unit. Saturday night dinner is provided
Mess kit with a tea towel
Any necessary medications
